Darla Jackson is the Faculty Services & Outreach Librarian at the University of Oklahoma College of Law. She has previously worked as a Practice Management Advisor for the Oklahoma Bar Association and as Director of the Law Libraries at the University of Tulsa College of Law and the University of South Dakota School of Law. Before entering law librarianship, she was a Judge Advocate in the U.S. Air Force. In addition to her M.L.I.S and J.D., Darla holds an LL.M. in International Law from the University of Georgia and an LL.M. in Indigenous Peoples Law from the University of Oklahoma. Her research focuses on international human rights, federal Indian and tribal law, military law, comparative law, international commercial arbitration, empirical research, and the impact of technology on the information seeking behavior of legal professionals and law students. She has spoken extensively and published works on these topics.
