Ashley is the Associate Director for Public Services, overseeing the reference and circulation departments at the Jerome Hall Law Library. She is heavily involved in online instruction, participating in the teaching rotation for the 2-credit Advanced Legal Research course with her reference colleagues and regularly teaching two 1-credit ALR specialty courses she developed, Research for Advocacy and Business & Tax Research. Her primary research focus is the impact of emerging technologies on the legal profession and trends in legal education. Ashley is a member of the American Association of Law Libraries, the Ohio Regional Association of Law Libraries, the American Bar Association, and the Indiana State Bar Association. Ashley received her B.A. (magna cum laude) from the College of William & Mary in 2007, a J.D. from William & Mary School of Law in 2010, a M.L.S. from Indiana University Bloomington in 2012, and a graduate certificate in Instructional Systems Technology (instructional design, with a focus on online instruction) from Indiana University's School of Education in 2018.
