Daryl Thompson is a law librarian at MSUs College of Law, where he teaches Advanced Legal Research and the research portion of Research, Writing, & Analysis. He is a licensed attorney in the state of Michigan and practiced elder law prior to becoming a librarian. He also has a background in theatre and homeless advocacy.Daryl's librarianship focuses on research and instruction. Outside of his own courses, he provides guest training in both law school and wider university courses. He is particularly interested in helping people understand how to access legal information. He received his M.L.I.S. from San Jose State University, his J.D. magna cum laude from Michigan State University College of Law, and his M.F.A in Theatre from Michigan State University.
