Judge Berenson has worked as a government attorney, full-time law professor, private practitioner and now hears cases relating to California’s public assistance programs. He has taught law school courses in Family Law, Legal Ethics, Administrative Law, Remedies, Judicial Ethics, Legal Research and Writing and founded and directed the Thomas Jefferson Veterans Legal Assistance Clinic. He is the author of more than 30 scholarly articles and shorter pieces.
