The Center for Computer-Assisted Legal Instruction (CALI) is seeking nominations of qualified and enthusiastic individuals from the legal education community to fill vacant positions on its Board of Directors.
What We Do!

Publish 1,300+ interactive tutorials in 40 different legal subject areas authored by law faculty (www.cali.org/lessons)

Publish free casebooks and supplements authored and reviewed by law faculty and downloadable in PDF, ebook and MS Word formats with built-in permission to edit and redistribute to students

Host an open formative assessment platform for legal education that can be used inside the classroom, in a flipped classroom setting, distance learning or supplemental study

CALIcon Conference - one of the longest running legal education & technology conference

Developers of A2J Author (www.a2jauthor) which has helped over 8 million people fill out their own court forms.
Board of Director Commitment:

Attend 4 meetings a year - in person and virtual.

Serve on committees at the behest of the President of the Board
Disclaimer:
Service on the CALI Board is voluntary and gratis. Travel expenses for the Board meetings can be covered by CALI if institutional support is unavailable.
Nomination Process:

Complete the online nomination form BEFORE NOVEMBER 15, 2024 MIDNIGHT.

1st Round - Virtual interview conducted by John Mayer, Executive Director - CALI

Nomination Committee will determine a slate of candidates to be presented to the CALI Memberships at the Annual Membership Meeting to be held in January 2025. Once the slate is chosen, all nominees will be contacted.
