If you tried to access www.cali.org at any time on Thursday, April 21st into the early morning of the next day you know it was not available. We're very sorry about this (we weren't the only ones hit by it) and we know it couldn't have been a worse time for those of you with finals approaching. Thanks to everyone for your patience throughout; and a special thanks to (read on for more)...
Those of you who passed along updates through announcements, blogs, and social media as we worked toward a solutions and pieced together alternatives. Being a small nonprofit organization that serves over 200 law schools across the US, we have to rely on you to spread news and announcements about CALI at your school. And we can't thank you enough for doing so yesterday. Remember that if you keep up with us on Twitter or Facebook, you'll always know the latest.
If you're a student who was looking for CALI access, hopefully you found it in one of the alternatives we were able to offer in a pinch and on short notice; the most readily available being the CALI DVDs we send to your school each year.
Always make sure you have a CALI DVD handy for times when you don't have access to the internet or to our website. Yesterday proved you never know when you might need it. Ask your law library where you can find the DVDs at your school.
Please let us know if you have any concerns or questions about yesterday's outage.
