Professor Samansky was an Editor of the University of Pennsylvania Law Review and was elected to the Order of the Coif upon graduation. He was a tax attorney with the Philadelphia law firm of Wolf, Block, Schorr, and Solis-Cohen before joining Ohio State’s faculty in 1978.
Professor Samansky teaches Federal Income Taxation, Taxation of Partnerships, Business Planning, Property, and Legal Problems of Financial Information.
He is the co-author of Federal Taxation of Real Estate, and the author of Charitable Contributions and Federal Taxes. In addition, he has published several articles dealing with taxation and is the faculty adviser to the Volunteer Information Tax Assistance program, which is sponsored by the Internal Revenue Service.
