Marjorie McDiarmid received her J.D. with honors from Columbia University School of Law in 1970. She earned an LL.M. from Harvard in 1974. Before coming to teaching, she practiced law for 16 years, doing both civil and criminal work. In 1986, Professor McDiarmid joined the West Virginia University College of Law faculty, where she directed the Clinical Law Program and now teaches evidence, advanced evidence, and trial practice. In addition to her CALI lessons, her areas of publication include technology, teaching methodology, family law, decision theory, and criminal procedure.
