Brent Johnson is the access services librarian at the Widener University Legal Information Center in Harrisburg, PA. Since coming to Widener in 2005, Brent has taught legal reference in conjunction with the legal methods program and is interested in the use of technology for teaching legal research. Before coming to Widener, Brent was the instructional technology librarian at Washburn University Law Library and the electronic resources librarian at Oklahoma City University Law Library.
Prior to his career as a law librarian, Brent was a junior high school basketball coach. Brent received his JD from Oklahoma City School of Law and is a member of the Oklahoma Bar. He received his Masters in Library and Information Science from the University of Pittsburgh, and his Masters of Education in Instructional Technology from the University of Central Oklahoma. He is a member of Kappa Delta Pi, the international honor society for educators.
