Connecticut Legal Research: Secondary Resources

This lesson will provide you with an introduction to Connecticut's secondary source materials. After you have completed this lesson, you will have a better understanding of where to find and how to use the state's secondary source materials including the practice series, periodicals, and practice aids.

Learning Outcomes

On completion of the lesson, the student will be able to:

  1. Identify and locate the secondary sources for Connecticut.
  2. Distinguish between the various methods and means by which the secondary sources are published.
  3. Demonstrate the ability to use the finding aids and tools for each secondary source.
  4. Explain when and why each source and/or finding aid or tool should be used.
